Catch Up Academy seeking tutors in Nottinghamshire

We're partnering with Nottinghamshire County Council to provide top-quality tuition in core subjects to primary and secondary students.

We're looking for experienced tutors with a passion for helping young people.

If you have experience working with SEND or SEMH needs, we encourage you to apply

Who We're Looking For:

* PGCE, NQT or at least 2 years of experience in tutoring children

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent OR experienced in tutoring children with SEND

* Educated to at least Bachelor's level

* Hardworking, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about KS1-4 Maths, English or Science.

* Confident, self-motivated, and inspiring

* Enhanced DBS registered with the update service. We can help you apply for a DBS, if you don’t have one

Catch Up Academy Tutor Responsibilities:

* Deliver one-on-one tutoring in core subjects (Maths, English, Science) to primary and secondary students (KS1-KS4).

* Create personalised lesson plans to meet each student's specific needs and learning styles.

* Motivate and inspire students, building their confidence.

* Manage behavior to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.

* Track student progress and communicate progress reports effectively with parents and the Catch Up Academy team.

Working Hours:

* Work flexible shifts between Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 16:30pm

* Location: All areas within Nottinghamshire County Council
