Our client is a well established business and they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant for their Blackburn head office.

Working in a small and friendly accounts team you will report directly to the FC and will have a broad role covering all aspects of management accounting and some generel accounting work. Typical duties will cover:

* Produce Monthly Management Accounts and Data Analysis.

* Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations across all companies.

* Carrying out housekeeping on all bank reconciliations for unpresented items

* Process/check/approve CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments.

* Purchase Ledger management across all companies to include processing incoming invoices/reconciling accounts following payment receipt/chasing any outstanding payments.

* Liaise with suppliers and ensure payment of firms invoices in a timely manner.

* Support with queries from fee earners.

* Liaise and assist with external accountants for the annual audits to include all Management Accounts

* Process Year end schedules for accounts filing with Companies House

* Process weekly and monthly payroll for all companies to include processing information on amendments/adjustments for all employees on a daily basis prior to month end payroll being processed.

* Process HMRC submissions for all companies.

* Journal preparation/marking up on relevant system across all companies.

* KPI’s across all companies daily/weekly and monthly to include month end target reports

* Process monthly expenses claims
