Position: Secondary Learning Support Assistant
Location: North Dulwich
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:

Remedy are seeking an experienced Secondary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated team at a school in North Dulwich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience managing challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet students' needs.
- Support students with behavioural challenges, using appropriate strategies to manage and improve behaviour.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages students' academic and social development.
- Monitor and report on student progress, working collaboratively with the SENCO and other staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Proven experience working with students with SEN, particularly in a secondary school setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting students with challenging behaviour.
- A patient, empathetic approach and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not essential.
