Job Title: Machine Setter

Location: Gillingham, UK

Salary: £11.44 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Setter to join our client in Gillingham.

This role is essential to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, involving the installation, operation, and maintenance of various machines within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting up machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order

* Operating machines and monitoring them for abnormalities

* Performing routine and preventative maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently

* Troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical or technical issues

* Conducting quality control checks to maintain the high standards of our products

Requirements:

* Proven experience in machine operation or a similar role in an industrial environment

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management

* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

* Engineering background or experience would be highly beneficial
