Company Description

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a specialised Town Planning consultancy based in Central London. My clients provide a commercially focused service to clients, including property developers, institutions, and landowners.

Role Description

As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including conducting planning research, preparing planning applications, advising clients on planning matters, coordinating with local authorities, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies principally in London, but with projects across the country. The office operates on a hybrid basis.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of town planning principles and legislation
Experience in preparing and submitting planning applications
Ability to conduct planning research and analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in using planning software and tools
Experience in liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Town Planning or related field
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RTPI) is desirable
Ideally 3-5+ years experience either in planning authority or private practiceSalary
