Year 4 Teacher

We are working with a vibrant primary school, nestled in the heart of Daventry, who are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a fixed-term basis for the upcoming Summer Term, from April 15th to July 23rd, 2024. They will consider both full-time and part-time applicants for this role.

Position Overview:

Role: Year 4 Teacher
Contract: Fixed-Term (Summer Term: April 15th - July 23rd, 2024)
Hours: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Daventry, NorthamptonshireResponsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the Year 4 curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning, creativity, and collaboration.
Assess student progress regularly through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student development and well-being.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for all students.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably within Year 4.
Sound knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and proficiency in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
A passion for fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusivity within the school community.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school's continued success
