BI Analyst | Car/Allowance + Bonus | York | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced BI Analyst to join a fast-paced FTSE 100 company, working with a range of large and complex data sets.

You will need to be experienced with SQL and PowerBI (including DAX) in order to contribute to their dashboards, reporting and data modelling.

Role/Responsibilities:

Contribute to the effective functioning of the enterprise data infrastructure
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, data warehouses, semantic models, dashboards and reports
Assist with the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modelling, security, master and reference data across multiple solutions
Assist with refining and translating business requirements
Produce and update technical documentation (e.g. data dictionary / catalogues) 
Experience/Requirements:

Experienced with SQL database development
Experience building reports and semantic models with Power BI (including DAX)
Knowledge of relational database and data warehouse concepts
Knowledge of Python
Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI / CD pipelines and Git
Experience in understanding, gathering, and analysing business requirements
Bonus experience with any of the following: NoSQL, Progress, MariaDB, MongoDB, Spark SQL, ERP and CRM systems, PySpark, Pandas
