We have an opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning developer, specialising in flagship residential projects in London.

Our client has several schemes across London, all ranging from (Apply online only) units and are looking to expand their team. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on large project in North West London, consisting of 600 units.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be working for London's leading developer who invest in their staff, providing support for continuous learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

* Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents.

* Support in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site.

* Collaborate with the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

* Participate in cost analysis and cost control activities.

* Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with subcontractors.

* Contribute to the overall success of the commercial team.

* Report directly to and support the Senior Quantity Surveyor & Quantity Surveyors on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry

* Strong analytical and numerical skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work collaboratively within a fresh, dynamic team

This developer will be open to meeting Assistant Quantity Surveyors, from commercial, residential or subcontractor backgrounds. Ideally the right candidate will be looking for the next 18 months - 2 years of development, show that they have the right attitude and be looking to grow within the team.
