What is involved in the Account Manager role?
Management of existing and growing those existing accounts.
Development of the Commercial Plan for each customer.
Work closely with New Product Development and Business Development teams.
Getting into the detail to add the value and quality ensuring customer retention.
Working closely with the Development team to understand the detail around product development.
Regular updates with the Head of Sales on commercial progress re monthly, weekly KPI's.
Being in constant contact with the customers and acting on feedback correctly.
Your background needs to include:
Foodservice commercial experience, with strong account management.
Existing network in the foodservice sector.
The relationship skills and credibility to grow current accounts.
Ambitious with resilience and tenacity.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills, able to devise trends and themes.
