Circa £50,000 plus benefits
•Create initial Bill of Materials for each project and update with further requirements throughout the project.
•Deliver fast track construction fit out projects mainly across the leisure and hospitality industries, with contract values ranging from c£300k to c£2m.
•Liaise closely with the ICM purchasing department to order all materials, especially identifying long lead items.
•Arrange for material / finishes samples to be presented to the client team as required.
•Arrange and attend regular progress meetings and report minutes to the Contracts Manager.
•Manage on site trades to ensure collaboration and maintain good progress.
•Be prepared to travel on a national basis and stay away as required.
•Manage up to 3 projects at a time.
•Liaise closely with ICM colleagues regarding joinery manufacturing progress and any FF&E required.
•Ensure all joinery items are drawn up by ICM and approvals are obtained.
•Be the 1st contact for the client and their team.
•Feedback variations to quoted sums as required.
•Report delays caused by others and give details to CM.
•Target all trades to complete their works in line with the contract programme.
•Request and submit all certification, O&M information in a timely manner.
•Liaise with the Principal Designer on CDM matters and Building Control throughout the project.
•Obtain final Building Control certificate sign off.
•Supervise snagging in a timely manner and ensure the required quality is achieved.
Take the lead and overall responsibility to ensure projects adhere to internal health and safety policies and CDM 2015. Take appropriate action to deal with asbestos reports as necessary. Liaise closely with ICM H&S advisors as required.
Oversee the management of sub-contractors' performance, programme adherence, quality and value
together with the ICM Contracts Manager, and put measures in place to address performance that falls below expectation.
Manage and control costs on all projects, business expenditure and impact on the business. Work alongside Operations Manager/ Contracts Manager to maximize profit, whilst maintaining value for
money. Ensuring accurate and timely billing is undertaken at the agreed project timelines.
Liaise closely with the ICM Project Controller to issue interim valuations, final accounts in line with
agreed dates.
Maintain regular, consistent, professional relationships at all times with the clients, contractors and internal personnel. Ensure commercial opportunity, risk and change controls are delivered effectively
on projects to achieve agreed margin and profit targets.
Manage and report client satisfaction levels after each new project verbally, or via written feedback.
Ensure prompt appropriate action is taken to provide an effective response to any customer issues with the Operations Manager/Contracts Manager
Follow and comply with all policies and procedures of the company which includes the Health and Safety procedures, ensuring personal safety and the safeguarding of the interests and safety of all staff, visitors, and contractors
