We have an excellent opportunity for a psychologist to join our client, in a brand-new role, the first in the service, where you can really make a difference.

You will provide expert psychological leadership and support for children’s palliative care services, and lead strategic development of emotional health and wellbeing in the East Midlands

Working with the whole family, offering comfort and compassion during tough times, providing the highest level of professional care until the end, and support after.

Salary: Up to £57k (DoE)

Position: Psychologist

Hours: Part Time – 22.5hrs

Setting: Children’s Hospice, Community & Hospital – Palliative Care

Location: Covering East Midlands – Hospice location Loughborough

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, monitor effectiveness, and adapt approaches within a multi-professional team for Emotional Health and Wellbeing.

* Assess and monitor risk, provide psychological risk management advice, and maintain a small clinical caseload at Rainbows.

* Conduct specialist psychological assessments and treatments, offer guidance and support to professionals, and attend relevant meetings.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

* HCPC registration

* Experience of working with both young people and families
