We are working with a school who are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team in Year 2. As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to both the teacher and students, helping to create a positive learning environment. You will be involved in various classroom activities, working one-on-one, leading small groups in pre-set work, and assisting with both academic and personal development tasks, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.

Support individual students or small groups to enhance their learning.

Help manage classroom resources and materials.

Contribute to the creation of a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Assist with record-keeping and monitoring pupil progress.

Supervise children during break times and on school trips.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.

Basic understanding of the primary school curriculum.

A current DBS that is on the update service or are willing to obtain one.
