Oxon Park is actively recruiting for a CNC 5 Axis Miller to join a sub contract precision engineering company located in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe. Our client is UKAS approved to ISO 9001 and offer high accuracy, precision CNC machining of a wide range of components from highly complex to simple parts.

With continuous investment in the latest machining technology allowing them to offer a truly comprehensive engineering service, including: CNC milling, turning and grinding.

Permanent Position, Full Time, Permanent, 40 Hours Per Week (Before Overtime)

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (Hours can be flexible)

Job Responsibilities:

* Set, operate and program 5 axis Mikron mills.

* Programming offline using Hypermill software

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Checking first offs

Qualifications & Skills:

* 2 years experience working with Hypermill

* 5 Axis milling experience (Mikron desirable)

* Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness and time management.

* Be competent with Heidenhain controls

* Maintain a clean and safe environment.

* Work to tight deadlines.

* At times, be able to work “lone wolf” under pressure.

* To have a flexible approach
