Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Develop and implement a comprehensive drama curriculum that inspires and motivates students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
Student Development: Foster a supportive and dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Help students develop their acting, speaking, and performance skills.
Extracurricular Activities: Lead and organize drama clubs, school productions, and other extracurricular activities to enhance the students' learning experience.
Assessment and Reporting: Evaluate student progress through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records. Prepare reports for parents and school management.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational practices and partake in continuous professional development opportunities.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other faculty members to integrate drama into cross-curricular activities and school events. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school's development.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, managing student behavior effectively and following the school's policies.

Requirements:

Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months teaching experience in the UK education system, specifically within a secondary school setting.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of drama and theatrical techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in classroom management.
Desirable:
Experience in directing school plays or drama productions.
Knowledge of contemporary educational practices and methodologies.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
