Cleaner/Caterer

Manpower is recruiting a Cleaner/Caterer to work for our public sector client. This role is crucial in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the young patients and staff.

Location: Bridgend

Job type: Temporary, 12 weeks, possibly ongoing

Hours: Part time, 30 - 37.5 hours per week. You will work shifts 10 am - 6 pm any day of the week, Monday - Sunday.

Hourly rate: Weekdays £11.45 | Saturdays £16.14 | Sundays & Bank Holidays £20.95

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the unit.
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Ensure that all areas, including patient rooms, communal spaces, and restrooms, are kept tidy and well-maintained.
Catering Duties:
Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
Assist in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and disposing of waste appropriately.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a cleaning or catering role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to food preparation and hygiene.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and patients.
