Based in Hull, East Yorkshire, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

**Job Description:**

As a Quantity Surveyo, you will play a pivotal role in managing all costs related to civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to finalizing the costs. You will ensure that our projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for civil engineering projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects.
- Review and assess tender documents, contracts, and sub-contractor agreements.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Measure and value work done on site, including variations and claims.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and valuations.
- Prepare final accounts and project close-out reports.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or similar is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for cost management and estimation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
