Responsibilities:

* Perform general maintenance tasks and ensure the overall cleanliness of the school premises.

* Carry out routine repairs and maintenance of equipment, fixtures, and facilities.

* Monitor and address health and safety issues, ensuring a secure and hazard-free environment.

* Assist with the setup and maintenance of school events and activities.

* Manage stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies, and liaise with suppliers as needed.

* Collaborate with the other caretaker to ensure smooth operations and coverage.

* Participate in occasional emergency call-outs outside of regular working hours.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a caretaker, handyman, or in a similar maintenance role.

* Strong practical skills and knowledge of general maintenance tasks.

* Reliability and a proactive approach to work.

* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a school environment.
