Are you passionate about supporting the educational development of every child, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, including those displaying challenging behaviours.

Collaborate with teachers to implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behavioural strategies.

Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Assist with classroom management and behaviour interventions.

Support students during lessons, activities, and assessments.

Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions.

Liaise with parents, guardians, and external professionals as needed.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviour.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping children succeed.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).
