This is an exciting chance to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client has experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises, and taking on new members of staff over all departments.
As our client has 2 main sites in Doncaster, you would carry out QA work at both buildings and pool vehicles can be used for this if you have to transfer between buildings part way through the day.
Reporting to the Compliant Manager, this role shall cover all duties in the workshop quality department and any additional or different duties in any department which the Company may require from time to time.
Key tasks:
* Be able to check over vehicle conversions to ensure that all items have been fitted correctly and are in full working order.
* Operate tablet system for recording checks.
* Apply stickers, rubber matting and any other items required.
* Be able to use vehicle weigh pads and record details of each type of conversion.
* Be able to complete all relevant paperwork.
* Assist with vehicle hand overs. This may include customer contact.
* Assisting the workshop Quality Manager and the Workshop Manager with any other tasks required.
* Ad hoc duties as and when required.
Key Attributes:
* Keen eye for detail.
* Experience in some field of quality assurance would be of benefit.
* Hold a valid driving licence.
* Basic computer skills.
* Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organization and external contacts including customers and suppliers.
* Problem solving.
* Integrity.
* Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department.
* Be aware of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
Hours of work: 5 day week Monday to Friday 7:30-4pm
