We are currently seeking to speak with a passionate and engaging English Lecturer that is looking for a new challenge..

A wonderful and ‘outstanding’ Adult Education Service in central Birmingham are looking to add a new sharp and engaging Lecturer to their team. This is a temporary contract that covers the whole of the academic year from September 2024 to July 2025 so an amazing long term role. If suitable you can start in the next few weeks to get a feel of the class and the content. You will be teaching GCSe English, helping students get their desired grade within English Literature and Language. 

The role is temporary to begin with however can become a permanent fixture if the role and the service is to your liking.

Ideally you will have experience teaching GCSE English or Functional Skills English in a secondary or FE setting. Working with Adults means behavioural management is very low meaning you can focus on the content delivery Pay is £26 - £28 an hour and you can choose to work 4 or 5 days a week.
