Site Technician, £45,000 + Van

A leading force in the world of Electrical Solutions is currently expanding and is looking for a Site Technician to join them on their journey.

A global business, they offer a range of services, including the manufacturing of AC/DC Solutions, transformers, substation equipment and others. They’re also responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning of HV electrical infrastructure within the UK Network, with over 200 HV projects, through their engineering services business.

This is an excellent chance for a Site Technician to grow their career for one of the UK’s most innovative Electrical Solutions businesses.

You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance of Switchgear products throughout the UK.

Please note this role will require travel across the UK as well as staying away.

Responsibilities:

* Undertaking related Electrical and Mechanical duties- maintenance, repair and installation of switchgear products.

* Carry out investigations on site relating to quality concerns of failures.

* Advising clients on potential technical issues.

* Providing reports of technical issues encountered.

* Reading and understanding Engineering drawings.

Necessary experience:

* Experience working with Switchgear products is essential.

* Strong Electrical or Mechanical background.

* Experience working within HV systems/substations
