Café Assistant

Following a recent expansion this modern café is looking for a part time café assistant to join the team.

Working in the café you will:

Take orders and payments, providing an excellent level of customer service
Prepare and serve food and drinks
Keep the café area clean and tidy
Work as part of the catering team, liaising with other departments as needed
Follow set procedures with an understanding of the importance of food safety, allergens, health and safety and trading standards
Work 2 weekdays per week on a set rota basis

We would expect the successful candidate to have worked in a hospitality role and to have excellent customer service skills ,a good knowledge of food safety and experience of working in a busy environment

It would be useful if you have a food safety qualification and basic IT skills although training can be provided.

This would be an ideal role if you have worked as a waiting / serving staff and are looking to work for a successful and growing organisation in a café setting.

You will be joining an expanding organisation at their recently purpose built café with plenty of parking, close to public transport links from Harrogate centre, Leeds, and Knaresborough. This is a rewarding role that plays a big part in benefiting the local community and values the input of all team members with opportunities for further training and development.
