Accounts Assistant

Full time permanent onsite

Our client, an innovative engineering company based in Scunthorpe, is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Processing invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders
Reconciling bank statements and assisting with month-end procedures
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and budgets
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve any finance-related issues
Providing general administrative support to the finance teamSkills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
