Palfinger UK is the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction, Recycling and Forestry Cranes. We’re also the UK’s largest national Lorry Crane provider that offers in-house assembly, bespoke body-building and servicing for the entire life of the equipment portfolio it represents.

Due to demand, we have an exciting opening for a Field Service Engineer to join our specialist aftersales team.

We’re looking for a suitable engineer who ideally lives around Gloucester, Cheltenham, or the surrounding region.

Exceptional customer service and aftersales support is at the heart of our business. We’re a trusted supplier of an extensive range of some of the world’s most advanced and innovative lifting machines.

This is your chance to work out in the field supporting our iconic cranes.

Duties:

It's a highly professional and dynamic environment. You’ll be based from home and have a responsibility for the effective and efficient servicing, inspection and repairs of our lorry loaders at customer premises across the region.

We’ll provide you with the specialist technical knowledge and formal product training necessary to keep these innovative machines performing at their best.

Our engineers work 40 hours per week between our standard operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday - Friday. Additional over-time, (paid at a premium), is available should you want to work and earn more.

If you’re passionate about your work, with a strong customer focus you’ll fit right in

Its essential that you're an existing engineer with mechanical and hydraulic experience maintaining similar equipment such as construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGV's, Forklifts, Talilifts etc.

Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or an associated discipline.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
