On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking for an experienced to teach Year 4 class in a school in a diverse community in Reddish, Stockport. This Year 4 teaching position will commence October 2024 with the possibility of permanency and will pay an attractive salary of up to £223 per day which reflects your skill-set and stage of your career. The school strongly support children as the most important consideration and look to appoint an individual who has a strong drive to support pupils from vulnerable backgrounds.

About the Role

As the Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for an average class size of around 30 pupils with a small groups of SEND pupils with one on an EHCP.

Key responsibilities

Carry out professional duties and have responsibility for a Year 4 class
You will be tasked with creating exciting and engaging lessons aiming to utilise all of the schools resources looking far beyond the confines of a classroom.
Complete appropriate teaching, marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential.
Employ differentiation and individualised learning strategies required to meet the needs of all pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives
Be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
Promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
Build and maintain strong links with children, parents and staff to support best outcomes for children

To be successful in this Year 4 teaching role, you will:

Hold QTS Certification
Have experience teaching in a KS2 setting (Year 4 desireable)
Be able to provide an up-to-date CV covering 10 years of previous employment history with no gaps
Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and overseas police check (if applicable)
Have a right to work in the UK.
