About the Role:
As a HGV Driver/ HGV Waste Driver you’ll be at the forefront of the client’s waste management operations, based at their hub near Ipswich. You’ll be experienced or keen to learn to operate skip vehicles, roll-ons, and tippers. Will consider Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers. The role particularly involves a strong customer facing, being a first line representative of the company, so character, presentation and personality is everything. The role often suits individuals looking for regular hours (Monday - Friday) and a good work and home life balance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Operating skip vehicles, roll-ons, and tippers
* Performing daily vehicle checks and maintenance
* Willingness to understand the waste business and contribute to the business performance
* Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism
* Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations
About You:
Positive attitude You will possess strong customer-facing skills, good awareness of machine maintenance, and excellent time management. A strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team are crucial. Additionally, you must be authorised to work in the UK.
