Position: Duct Hygiene Technician Team Leader

We are a specialist cleaning and ventilation contractor, committed to ensuring the highest standards of hygiene for national hotels, restaurants, and food-on-the-go chains. As members of BESA, we provide full training to ensure our team meets these standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Work: Perform cleaning of ventilation duct systems, including canopies, ductwork, and fan units, to TR19 standards.
Installation: Install access panels where required.
Safety Compliance: Work in confined spaces and at height, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers.
Risk Assessment: Conduct and understand risk assessments on sites prior to commencing work.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Driving License: Must possess a full clean UK driving licence.
Experience: Preferred experience working at height and in confined spaces; ideally experienced in ductwork cleaning to TR19 standards with a General Hygiene Technician (GHT) Qualification.
Team Management: Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Flexibility: Willingness to work "out of hours" shifts, starting late afternoon/early evening, and travel nationally using a company vehicle.
Work Ethic: High level of enthusiasm and a good work ethic.

Benefits

Competitive Salary: Starting salary of £26k - £28k, dependent on experience.
Shift Pattern: 4-day week followed by a 5-day week, with every other Friday off.
