About the team
We are looking for a Car Club Executive on a full-time permanent basis. You will be driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships from our Car Club network; including but not limited to Classic Car Insurance, with a view to capitalising on any cross-selling opportunities which you identify. This will entail creating a regular contact schedule, capture actions from each meeting, which you will implement and then manage the end-to-end process through to income delivery.
The Car Club team is home based, but we have multiple office locations available through the MSG Broking world, so it is essential that you have the flexibility to travel to our other locations and to off-site meetings on a regular basis. Some weekend work will be required to attend shows and/or car club meets as and when the opportunity arises.
About the role
The key elements of your role will include:
Proactively manage existing Car Club relationships to ensure we are seeing sales growth and any good performance is maintained.
Identify and engage new partner opportunities for the Division that will drive leads and income into our business areas and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Support the Senior Commercial Manager in management of the key accounts.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and develop a central prospect list, which includes target companies, industries & clubs.
Arranging appointments with existing and potential partners to engage and build relationships.
Successfully convert prospects into contracted partner agreements.
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure new opportunity launch dates are within agreed timescales and the prospect targets are agreed with the Brand P+L owners
Ensure all agreements are compliant and in line with Consumer Duty and any applicable regulation
Prepare joint business and marketing plans with our key Partners/Introducers.
Work collaboratively with the marketing department to produce collateral to maximise exposure with each opportunity.
Attend related shows where necessary with a view generate B2B relationships along with collecting leads on B2C basis
Achieve sales and other targets agreed with line manager.
Maintain a strong relationship with partners to develop the relationship and maximise the level of income delivered
Liaise with the in-house sales/call team to understand sales journey and support where necessary the conversion of leads.
Maintain a strong knowledge of all products/services offered by the Group to identify and convert opportunities to cross sell additional products to existing partners
Any ad hoc responsibilities as required.
About you
To be considered for the role you will need to have:
Previous experience working in a sales role including working in a targeted environment.
Self-motivated, able to work remotely and manage multiple external relationships
Experience in discussing Personal lines with industry professionals and prospective clients from outside the industry.
Experience with face to face, B2B sales and delivering presentations.
Ability to prospect via durable medium, telephone, online and face to face.
