Vacancy: SEN Teachers (Accepting Primary or Secondary Class Teachers )

Immediate Trials

Responsibilities:
General Teaching Duties:
· Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary, secondary and post 16 pupils with complex needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, and GLD and related SEN.
· Develop lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
· Utilise PECS, visual aids, Makaton, and other specialised communication methods to support pupil learning and engagement.
· Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
· Maintain an organised and resource-rich classroom environment.

Pupil Abilities: Pupils' abilities vary, with some corresponding to developmental levels below 18 months, while others are at pre-key stage standards 1 and 2. All pupils are non-verbal and can display challenging behaviours.

Essential Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience teaching in a school environment
· Understanding complex needs and severe learning difficulties
· Ability to plan, prep and deliver tailored lesson plans
· A valid DBS check on the update service
· The right to work full-time in the UK
