Your role will involve conducting thorough reviews of financial records, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.

Role Purpose:

To provide effective support to the Group Operations Director, Partners and Management by carrying out various audit functions efficiently and with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with internal / external control procedures, reporting requirements (both internal/ external) by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation. Documenting audit tests and findings and providing feedback thereof to individuals, Partners and committees to ensure lessons learned and shared and any findings are fed into training plans and PDP's. Conduct audits and prepatory work for ISO 9001 Quality and 14001 Environmental Audits to ensure the business is maintaining standards of service delivery. You'll provide an overview to the leadership team to ensure that the business risk management, governance and control processes are operating effectively. Your work with senior management will also provide evidence to stakeholders that we are managing our business effectively.

Duties (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)

* Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation.

* Completes audits in line with SLA's.

* Complete audit workpapers by documenting auditing tests and findings.

* Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs, management systems and recommending new policies and procedures.

* Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report, summarising trends, discussing findings with the various committees/ partners.

* Main point of contact for external auditors.

* Collation a distribution of external audit results.

* Attend meetings, as required, to develop an understanding of business processes.

* Travelling to different offices to meet relevant staff and obtain documents and information.

* Providing AD HOC advice and guidance to managers and staff at all levels, which can take the form of presentations/ training sessions.

* Anticipating emerging issues through research.

* Agreeing recommendations with relevant staff/ partners/ committees to make improvements to operations/ audit results.

* Performing risk assessments on key business activities and using this information to guide what should be covered in audits.

* Preparing reports to highlight issues and problems and distributing the reports to the relevant people.

* Assess and report on effectiveness of management systems releve to ISO standard.

* Assessing how well the business is complying to rules and regulations and informing management of any issues that need addressing.

* Managing a varity of departmental stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications.

Experience:

* PC Skills - Word/ Excel/ Outlook/ Powerpoint

* ISO Quality & Environmental standards

* Anti Money Laundering (AML)

* Awareness of the importance of accuracy and meeting deadlines

* Ability to use own initiative

* Analytical thinking and attention to detail

* The ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* Flexible thinking and ability to adapt to change

* Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

* Ability to interact confidently at all levels and challenge effectively and constructively
