About the Role:
As a Teacher of English, you will be instrumental in shaping students' reading, writing, and analytical abilities, equipping them for academic success and beyond. Key Responsibilities:

* Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, offering constructive feedback to guide continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, contributing to a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.

* Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.

* Play an active role in the school community, participating in extracurricular activities and supporting school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a related field.

* Has proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum.

* Possesses a deep passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

* Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to cultivate a stimulating learning environment.

* Exhibits strong organisational and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative team setting.

* Is committed to continuous professional development and eager to contribute to the school’s ongoing success.
