Quarry Manager

Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting a Quarry Manager to work for a construction contractor based in West Wales.

Our client is looking for an experienced Quarry Manager to be our permanent cover manager to help run their operations in South West Wales. Reporting to their Regional Managers, you will have extensive experience of leading a team where Health and Safety and Operational Excellence drive everything you do.

About You:

* Technical knowledge of fixed and mobile plant,

* An understanding of engineering and statutory responsibilities and be familiar with all aspects of health, safety and environmental legislation.

* Ideally completed or working towards, a Level 6 SHE / QCF Level 5 in Health, Safety and Environmental Management in Extractives or equivalent

* Excellent understanding of the Quarries Regulation 1999 and ACOP
