The role

As an experienced CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines with Siemens control systems. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in machining processes and a passion for producing high-precision components. Key responsibilities include:

Setting up and operating CNC milling machines with Siemens control systems.

Interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models to produce components within specified tolerances.

Programming CNC machines using Siemens controls to ensure efficiency and precision.

Utilizing offline programming software, such as Alphacam, to prepare CNC programs and optimize machining processes.

Performing routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshooting technical issues.

Conducting first-off inspections and verifying the accuracy of machined parts using precision measurement tools.

Collaborating with the quality assurance team to ensure all components meet stringent quality standards.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions to enhance machining processes and efficiencies.

You

You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Miller in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines using Siemens controls. Additional qualifications include:

Strong understanding of machining processes and materials, including metals and exotic alloys.

Experience with offline programming, particularly using Alphacam, is highly advantageous.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.

Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
