Role: 2ic English Teacher

Location: Leyton, London

School Type: Mixed, Secondary School

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of English in leading the department and driving academic excellence.
Teach English across various key stages, ensuring engaging and effective lessons.
Support curriculum development and the implementation of innovative teaching strategies.
Mentor and support other English teachers, contributing to their professional development.
Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities and events.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a related field.
Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student achievement.
