Music Teacher of Voice

The School seeks to appoint a permanent Visiting Music Teacher of Voice.
The School is amongst the city's most prestigious state-funded Catholic schools. Educating boys from 7 to 18, with girls in the sixth form, it puts a strong emphasis on the Arts. We are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational and versatile teacher of voice. The successful candidate will join a large team of visiting staff in a busy and thriving department.
Music and singing are central to the life of the school with several well-established choirs in the department and roughly 200 pupils participating. The department programmes a number of large-scale choral concerts and events each year with repertoire typically including Viennese Masses and Oratorios. Many pupils take individual singing lessons across the age range.
Responsibilities will include teaching one-to-one lessons, preparing pupils for practical examinations including GCSE and A level performances.
This position is Part-time, One day a week. Starting in September 2024.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two years of professional references.
