SER are supporting a school who are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed Secondary Teacher to join them on a full-time basis. You will be based predominantly in the schools new ASD centre. The successful teacher will be able to demonstrate excellent general subject knowledge, good interaction, and engagement with students with the support of their friendly team.

The Role:

* SEN Teacher (General Cover) KS3, 4

* SEN - SEMH & ASD

* Full-Time - Monday to Friday

* Immediate Start

* Duration: Initially 1 term (potential to apply for a permanent position)

* Pay rate: £160 - £220 (depending on experience & qualifications)

The ability to plan lessons, work with learners with varied abilities and to be versatile, friendly and to work with very challenging young people is a must. The school are also happy to receive applications from teachers looking to transition in to SEN and cover supervisors with a strong teaching background.

The School:

All the students at the school have an EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan), with a primary need of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). With small classes and amazing staff that truly understand SEMH, the school feel that once a student starts with them, they have every opportunity to turn their lives around. Every child has the right to achieve and they believe that every parent and carer has the right to expect that the school will do its very best for their child.

All candidates must:

* Be able to commit to working the hours specified above.

* Provide an enhanced DBS registered on the update service. If you do not hold a valid DBS, be willing to apply for a new DBS. The cost of a DBS is a one-off payment of £38 with an annual subscription of £13 per year to the DBS Update Service.

* If you have been a UK resident for less than 5 years, a right to work visa must be provided and a criminal background check certificate must be provided for any country resided in for 6 months or more within the past 5 years.

* Provide all required documentation (ID, Qualifications)
