A very well-established and successful specialist haulage, warehousing and pallet distribution services business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join their expanding business in the Snetterton region on a full time, permanent basis.

The role is a Mon to Fri but flexibility will be required on a weekly rotating basis covering very early morning, traditional days and nights / early hours.

This is a great role for an ambitious individual to join this progressive business which has experienced year on year growth, and with further expansion plans, they have an immediate opportunity for a hard-working and flexible Transport Planner. You will enjoy the buzz of a busy transport environment and enjoy a variety of duties ensuring that time scales are adhered to, reacting pro-actively to unforeseen issues that may impact on delivery times and resolving them as effectively as possible with the least impact on the business.

The role requires an individual who has a real commercial focus and is an experienced Transport Planner, competent in planning for both full and part loads and has experience of the general haulage industry and in working with 3PL companies. Your focus will be on making money, reducing costs and pro-actively looking at ways to make the whole operation as efficient as it can be.
