Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Manager you will:

Support the Plant Manager in the day to day running of the Anaerobic Digestion plant including feeding and routine monitoring.
Assisting with all maintenance across the site ensuring the site is running as efficiently and as effectively as possible whilst keeping the site clean and tidy.
Plan PPM's and complete fault repairs on pumps, motors etc. within a suitable timeframe
Monitoring IT control systems across the plant and responding accordingly when on site or on call off site.
Adhering to, monitoring and responding appropriately to site processes and procedures.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to assist with the pelleting side of the business when required

Personal skills

The Plant Operator role would suit someone who is:

Living locally to the site in Tiverton due to call out rota
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy, agricultural or industrial sector.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Salary and benefits of the Plant Operator role

Up to £35,000 DOE
Callout rota, 1 in 3 weekends (OT if called out)
