We are recruiting in the Midlands region for an industry leading and family run Fire Safety company. They are now seeking to take on a Fire Risk Assessor. The successful candidate will be working on Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, and Industrial sites to carry out type 1 & 3 fire risk assessments as well as providing clients with site specific and detailed fire / evacuation plans. You will also be responsible for carrying out fire drills, use of fire extinguishers and fire warden training with clients. Experience & Qualifications:
* Experience working for an established Fire Risk / Health and Safety company working hands on as a Fire Risk Assessor.
* Holding the NEBOSH Fire certificate and / or other recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification is desired.
* Will have excellent knowledge of relevant Health & Safety / PAS79 guidelines.
* Good IT skills.
* Able to manage time efficiently.

The Role:
* Undertaking type 1 & 3 Fire Risk Assessments across Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, and Industrial sites ensuring they meet the regulatory fire safety requirements.
* Producing detailed reports based on fire risk assessment findings, efficiently evaluating hazards, and highlighting risk & control measures.
* Producing site specific, detailed fire plan drawings and evacuation plans and delivering briefings to clients.
* Working in line with PAS79 and relevant Health & Safety guidelines.
* Providing excellent support and technical advice to clients.
* Providing in depth training on the following: fire drills, use of fire extinguishers and fire warden training.
Alternative Job titles: Fire Risk Assessor, Fire Risk Consultant, Health, and Safety Consultant.

Overall the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic. Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel extensively as per client requirements.
