Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design processes for multiple service lines including mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineering within the nuclear sector.
- Ensure all designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with project goals and client requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of design documents, specifications, and calculations.
- Manage and mentor a team of design engineers and technicians.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure all design activities comply with project requirements and standards.
- Identify and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural) or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and management of engineering projects within the nuclear industry.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
