Job summary for a Senior Assembly Operative:

* Carry out production tasks in a safe manner to achieve your output targets (Safety, quality, cost and delivery,) while operating within the Company policies and procedures.

* Provide cover for absent Team Leaders

* Always personally set a good example of behaviour and commitment to your team.

Key roles of a Senior Assembly Operative:

* Follow standard operating procedures to ensure output levels and quality standards are met.

* Support the Team Leader with training of team members and temporary staff.

* At all times maintain a positive/cooperative relationship between your fellow team members and others you interface with across the Company.

* Provide cover for colleagues at any location on the line as required in their absence to maintain output.

* Support the Team Leader in ensuring that production targets are met

Interpersonal skills of a Senior Assembly Operative:

* Relating to and co-operating with colleagues, suppliers and customers as required

* Supporting and generating team spirit within and beyond your area

* Leading and/or working as part of a team. Lead by example

* Can do attitude to work

* Responds quickly to new challenges

* Commitment to the organisation and the task in hand. Which may involve working additional hours to fulfil their role.

Experience

* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Team Leadership

* Good communicator
