Job Title: ESOL Tutor
Location: Various Districts (Cherwell, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse, West Oxfordshire, Oxford City)
Salary: £30 - £34 per hour
Hours: Part-time, minimum 10 hours per week
Contract: Initially 3 months, with potential for extension
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced ESOL Tutors to provide face-to-face and online English language instruction to adult learners across multiple districts. This role involves delivering tailored lessons to individuals with varying levels of spoken and written English, helping them improve their language skills and advance their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored ESOL sessions.
Develop customized learning programs using available resources.
Provide holistic and supportive lessons in small group settings.
Complete lesson reports and track student progress.
Requirements:
Essential:
Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g., CELTA, TEFL, TESOL).
Minimum of 2 years of ESOL teaching experience.
Understanding of safeguarding processes.
Enhanced DBS clearance.
Ability to travel across districts.
Desirable:
Higher qualification in a relevant subject.
Knowledge of education stakeholders and experience in supporting events.
Personal Qualities:
Enthusiastic, friendly, and adaptable.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
