Mould Shop Technical Trainer - Fareham

I’m working with an innovative manufacturer who operate in the automotive industry and they currently on the look out for a Mould shop technical trainer.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring training objectives are met as outlined by established KPIs.
Ensure awareness of and compliance with health and safety standards.
Engage in process improvement initiatives with the Technical Team.
Deliver technical training, re-training, guidance, and support across all areas of the Mould Shop as needed.
Maintain and update training records and the training matrix.
Provide feedback for necessary updates to reflect process changes and ensure all relevant team members are trained, assessed, and approved on the latest versions.
Utilize the QMS system effectively for referencing the latest documentation.
Conduct regular trainee reviews to ensure procedural compliance.
Train all operatives to ensure they receive the required training for their roles within the specified time frame.
Collaborate with technical process engineers as needed for the introduction of new processes and methods.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in injection moulding processes, including:
Working knowledge of IMM control systems such as Engel/Demag.
Correct tool hanging procedures using Lenzkes clamps and direct bolting.
Ability to set an IMM using existing setting data, including mould safety, clamp force, safe startup procedures, and robot setup.
Troubleshooting basic moulding issues like shorts, blistering, flash, and silvering.
Assessing correct barrel/tool temperatures for relevant materials.
Knowledge of scientific moulding techniques for process optimization.
Computer literate with strong IT skills.
Initiative to proactively identify and communicate potential improvements.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately.
Ability to plan training in advance and adjust plans on short notice to meet business needs.Experience

Experience in injection moulding and the automotive sector.
Ideally, one year of experience working in a results-driven manufacturing environment.
Excellent team player and communicator who can work independently, with strong attention to detail.
