Are you passionate about sharing your expertise and knowledge with the next generation? Dovetail and Slate are an employment business working with a number of Secondary Schools seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary School Science Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for science in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons. You will help students develop a deep understanding of the scientific world, critical thinking skills, and practical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons across the curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and student engagement.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring high standards of academic achievement.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
Maintain classroom discipline and promote good behaviour in line with school policies.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative schemes of work and contribute to the wider school community.Requirements:

Must have a DBS on the Update Service
A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Science at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
