Press Brake Setter

Sterling Personnel are currently working alongside a well-established and family ran manufacturing company based in Colwick, Nottingham.

Job Role: Press Brake Setter / Operator
Location: Colwick, Nottingham
Hours: 07:00am – 16:00pm (Monday – Thursday) 07:00am – 12:00pm (Friday)
Salary: £13.26ph

Responsibilities:

* Programming and Setting

* Use of Trumpf 3100 and Amada Press Brakes

* Folding 0.9 – 5mm

* Use calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to check dimensions and angles of bent parts

* Perform routine maintenance checks on press brake machines, such as lubrication and basic troubleshooting

* Monitor the machine during the bending process to ensure it is functioning correctly and efficiently

* Prepare raw materials for bending, ensuring they are free from defects and suitable for processing

Experience:

* Laser Experience is advantageous

* Power Press License is advantageous

* Prior experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
