About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September 2024. This position offers a competitive daily rate of £160-£210 and provides an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on young learners’ lives. This role is a replacement position due to a staff member’s relocation.

You will be responsible for teaching a lively class of approximately 30 Year 1 students. The role stands out due to the school’s supportive and inclusive ethos, as well as its strong focus on both academic achievement and personal development.

Application Requirements:

• A valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably with a focus on Year 1.

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.

• A commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Assessing and monitoring students’ progress and providing feedback to help them improve.

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students’ needs.

• Collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.

• Participating in school events and extracurricular activities to enhance the school community.
