Mobile Cleaner (Driving licence essential)

£13 per hour

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a Mobile Cleaner to work with our local council contractor. Applicants must have a full, manual driving licence.

Cleaning takes place in outdoor, public spaces and a vehicle is provided to get from one location to another.

This is an ongoing, weekday role, Monday to Friday, working from 7.30am to 3.30pm. There is a thirty-minute lunch break which is deducted so the successful applicant will be paid 37.5 hours per week.

The job includes litter picking and emptying bins as well as jet washing pavements, walls and hard surfaces to remove chewing gum and dirt.

Experience in this or a similar line of work is required.

We are looking for a pro-active individual with a good work ethic. You will be expected to work in all types of weather.

Responsibilities include:

* Washing and cleaning of hard surfaces

* Litter picking and sweeping

* Ensuring equipment, tools and machinery are kept clean and in good working order

* Driving a 3.5tn van

* Working in the safest possible way at all times

* Regular reporting to management in terms of work undertaken

* Customer service, dealing with the needs of the client’s contractual terms and members of the public
