About The Role
Building on our excellent relationships with our customers, Morrison Energy Services continues to expand our workbook to deliver Overhead Line and Sub-station projects to the highest standard.
 
To meet these exciting opportunities, we are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Project SHEQ Advisor to work within our Electrical Transmission Division, based in Nottingham but covering projects across the whole of the UK. 
 
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for day-to-day SHEQ Advice on high profile projects, working directly with site teams and customer representatives and be out key points of contact for liaison with customers, regulatory bodies, stakeholders, community groups and other important individuals and stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
Ensure SHEQ requirements and considerations are implemented at all stages of project development, delivery & close out to eliminate or reduce known Health and Safety risks
Provide all departments as required with professional operational SHEQ direction & support through project lifecycles
Ensure the implementation of SHEQ policies/procedures to ensure compliance with statutory legislation
Undertake site inductions of project staff and sub-contractors
Support the development and review of SHEQ Plans
Undertake site inspections as required
Provide progress reports to Health, Safety, & Quality Manager as & when required. In accordance with our certification to the standards ISO 45001, ISO9001 and ISO 14001 ensure and compliance with, and contribute to the effective implementation of the current Morrison Energy Services, Electrical Transmission policies
Maintain excellent levels of communication throughout the team & the wider business Skills
Conversant with Microsoft Office packages 
Knowledge of CDM legislation - required
Minimum NEBOSH general/construction certificate - required 
IEMA / IOSH Foundation in Environmental Management - desirable
Knowledge of Overhead Line and Sub-Station industry - desirable
Previous experience in an Engineering environment - desirable 
Full driving licence, as this role will require travel to sites & overnight stays
