Airmid Staffing, specialising in complex clinical homecare services, is looking for an experienced Registered Childrens Nurse to join them as a Clinical Nurse Lead (Complex Care), working as part of a team overseeing the delivery of specialist care at home.

As a Clinical Nurse Lead, you will oversee specialised care packages, conduct initial assessments, develop and review care plans and risk assessments, and lead the clinical training and development of the team including shadow shifts as needed.

Our services support adults, children, and young people with complex and clinical needs, including those with brain or spinal injuries as well as those with degenerative and neurological conditions.

We will need you to be competent and confident with clinical interventions such as airway management, ventilation management and tube feeding and will work with you to ensure that you are able to mentor others.

You will have your own own caseload, reporting into the Registered Manager and Clinical Lead Manager. The role is part time with potential to increase from 21 hours per week as we grow.

You will be primarily home-based, ideally in Kent where we have a client base, however some travel may be needed on occasion.  As part of your role will be to conduct assessments and observations flexibility is key, with some evening/weekend commitment needed to fit with the needs of the packages.

Person specification:

NMC RN Child registration

UK Driving Licence and personal vehicle

Experience of complex/critical care techniques, competence in the following is desirable: airway management, ventilation management, tube feeding

Awareness/knowledge of care for spinal and acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions would be an advantage
