I am currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join my client's team as a Mechanical Estimator. This is a permanent role based in the bustling city of Croydon, where you will be working alongside other professionals within the industry.
Job Description:
As a mechanical estimator, your primary responsibility would be preparing detailed cost estimates for projects related to HVAC systems, plumbing installations. You must have strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy while estimating project costs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential risks associated with each project
- Analyse technical drawings and specifications documents from clients
- Collaborate closely with engineers regarding design solutions.
- Estimate time requirements along-side material expenditures.
Qualifications Required:
To apply for this position we require that you hold at least two years' experience within similar fields such as construction management or engineering operations. Together it would also benefit if candidates had any formal qualification (HND/HNC/Degree) whilst holding relevant certifications on top of these qualifications could improve their application.
Skills Needed:
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills both verbal & written together being able demonstrate confidence when presenting information. Strong IT proficiency using Microsoft office suite programs; Excel/Word/formulation software etc., knowledge about building regulations including health/safety procedures coupled by great mathematical aptitude.
